Concert tickets & Sunday

Last week I heard on the radio that MercyMe is coming to Atlanta!! MercyMe is a wonderful Christian band that I absolutely love! I own all of their CDs and have seen them in concert twice! The last time I saw them, Dean and I weren't dating yet, but we went with Lorie and David J to Virginia Beach, hung out on the beach that day and then saw them open up with the David Crowder Band for Michael W. Smith! It was an awesome performance!! Anyway...I heard MercyMe was coming to town and we got tickets to see them on September 30th! YAY!! I'm soooo looking forward to seeing them again!!

Saturday Dean and I went to the gym and grocery store. We also went by Blockbuster and ended up buying 4 movies for $20. All we really wanted was the Pink Panther movie, but we got some other good ones as well. We made dinner for the Lynch's. We had tacos with black beans and rice. Everyone said it was really good. For dessert, we had brownies with walnuts and ice cream. We played Battle of the Sexes and the guys won, but the girls demand a rematch!!

Today we went to another new church. It is called Northside Park Baptist Church (www.northsidepark.org). Their website hasn't been updated in awhile. It was a nice service, but we were probably the youngest people in the service. I don't think that's exactly what we're looking for right now. We're watching King Kong right now and we'll be heading to the gym with Matt and Lisa this evening.

We've done a little more to our apartment! We decided that we needed some pictures of family and friends up to remind us of the wonderful people we're missing here in Atlanta. Here are some pictures!!

The pictures looked pretty even and not too crooked. The one in the living needs a little adjustment on the right corner, up a little. Really looks nice though. Glad to see the ones we hung are still up.

I am enjoying reading your diary. It is like you never left Richmond, but I know you did. Keep cheering for the Braves. They may not be in the playoffs, but watch out for next year. They have a good team.

Take care.
