Happy Birthday Marjie!
After the church service today, Dean and I were stopped by one of the members who said he remembered we like the Braves and wondered if we wanted his two season tickets with parking passes for that afternoon's game. We said YES! so we got to see the Braves today. We ran home and got things together and drove down to Turner Field. The game started at 1:30, so we were a little pressed for time. The tickets were in the "Golden Moon Casino Level." We had to go into this special area to get to our seats. They were in the shade which we really appreciated on a sunny day like today. I had never been to that section of the stadium before, so it was a nice treat. We also were excited when the Braves won 14-7!! Finally, they win a game that we're there to see!
On Friday, Dean had a phone interview with IBM's TJ Watson Research Facility in Yorktown Heights, NY. The internship position they have available is related to what he has been studying at Georgia Tech and would be a really great opportunity for him this summer. We are hoping to hear some more news this week. Dean's really excited about working there, so keep the prayers going that we will accept what happens next. I'll keep you posted!
