Happy Birthday Megan!
Yesterday Dean and I officially joined Haygood Memorial UMC! We've been attending Haygood for 3 years and several members already thought we were official! It was an emotional decision for me because it means no longer being an official member of Asbury Memorial UMC where I grew up and have so many friends. Asbury will always be my home church. Dean had no reservations about joining a Untied Methodist Church even though he grew up Baptist. He said he'll still make fun of us anyway!
While on the subject of churches, here's a picture of a church that we stumbled upon in downtown Atlanta. It make me chuckle.
Yes, the name of the church is really "The Perfect Church." It made me chuckle because no one is perfect and church-goers are no exception.
