Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to all! I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Easter Sunday. Dean, Rebecca and I went to church and then out to eat at a restaurant that was a little far away, but we all liked, so it was a special treat.

On Friday we went to the Braves Home Opener! It was a mad house trying to find parking, so we missed the first few innings. Here's the field!!














After a little bit of playing, the game was postponed because of a storm passing through. We sat in the upper deck waiting it out. First came the rain, then thunder and lighting and for a bit...HAIL! It was a little scary and a little fun! At one point the wind was so bad we had to put our umbrella in front of us to keep us from getting too wet!

They recently added a Chickfila cow to the outfield. He's dressed in a Braves hat and he does the chop with the fans. At first I thought he was cool, but now, not so much.
1) His chop is way too slow. He doesn't chop on the right beat. It just isn't real.
2) He stopped chopping after the rain. I don't know if there was a problem with him or what, but he should chop when all the other fans are!



















After the 3 hour rain delay, we still went into an extra inning. But, it was all worth it...we won!!














Game started at 7:35, rain delay for about 3 hours and an extra inning...the game didn't end until 1:26 AM! We stayed the whole time though. I just love the Braves that much!
