My friend Laura's grandfather has been discharged from the hospital and put on hospice care. Please keep him and the family in your prayers. I'm sure this is a very difficult time for all of them.
In other news...our 95 year old friend, Annie, passed away this morning. She had just be admitted to the hospital again with a bladder infection. Our family and especially my mom have been watching out for her for a long time. She thought of us and family and we felt the same about her. Annie loved to tell the story about coming to visit me when I was first born. She came over, handed my mom a coconut cream pie and Mom handed over me. Annie loved everyone. She knew everything about flowers and had a ton of them in her yard. Annie traveled a lot when she was younger and loved to hear about my trips. She loved God. When Annie met Dean, she fell head over heals for him. She would tell everyone just how handsome he is. I loved to watch her hug Dean. She was a tiny lady and she would hold on to Dean so tight. Mom said that after our visits Annie, Annie would talk about Dean for several visits after. She came to our wedding and was so excited to be there. Annie absolutely adored my mom. She would always say, "that Louise, she can do anything." Annie had a good judgment of character. Even though she was 95, Annie was still smart and alert. She will be truly missed by many people, but I know she is very excited to be looking down on us from Heaven. Annie was an angel on earth and now she's one in Heaven.
We love you Annie!
