Day 1: Connor and I flew down and met Dean at the Atlanta airport. He flew in from Virginia. We went to visit my work and show off Connor to everyone. Somehow we did not manage to get a single picture while at AMI.
We stayed at the Westin in downtown Atlanta.
Day 2: We started the day off with breakfast at the Silver Skillet.
We checked out Skyview Atlanta which was new since we lived there. Connor liked looking at everything!
We then went to the Georgia Aquarium. The world's largest aquarium! Connor loved all the fish but was worn out by the time we saw everything!
We had lunch at the CNN Center and of course checked out the Braves Clubhouse Store.
We wanted to try out the new streetcar, but they were taking a break when we finally got on. We decided to hop back off and catch a nap before the big event that night...Connor's first Braves game!!
It felt so good to be at "home" at Turner Field again!! I LOVED sharing this special place with Connor. He did pretty good the whole game and fell asleep right before the fireworks. The Braves lost big time, but the memories were still good!
And of course, after the Braves game we hit up our favorite ice cream place, Zestos!
Day 3: After sleeping in as long as Connor would let us, we picked up breakfast/lunch at some more places we have missed. We then went back to the hotel to try out the pool! Connor enjoyed "swimming" with us and the view was pretty cool!
After a nap, we headed out to dinner with our friend Rebecca. Connor had fun meeting Rebecca's Italian Greyhound, Chloe. Chloe, on the other hand, did not know what to make of Connor!
Day 4: We went to our old church and showed off Connor. Most people didn't know about him, so he was a surprise! It was so nice to worship with them and catch up. After church we got things together and started to say goodbye to Atlanta. Here are some more pictures from the hotel:
We had one more meal before heading to the airport. We kept Connor happy by blowing air in his face with a straw.
We made it through the airport. Connor was carried on the "Plane Train" and we checked to make sure he was small enough to be carried on.
Atlanta was so much fun, but we were all happy to be home! I think Daisy missed us, well at least Dean.
