Our Newest Graduate!

Daisy has a long way to go to accomplish the same level of graduate as her dad, but she is off to a great start!  Last night Daisy finished her Basic Obedience course and passed with flying colors!  Her trainers thought she would be really good at Agility Training, so we may look into that next.

We decided to give Daisy a special reward for such good work!  We stopped at Friendly's on the way home and got her a scoop of vanilla ice cream.  To say she loved it would be an understatement!

My parents visited at the end of March.  It was the first time they have been to Vermont, first time to see our house and first time to meet their granddog!  They had a really good visit.  We showed them around the area, played with Daisy and celebrated Easter!

For the first few days of Spring in Vermont we had snow.  Yes, for about a week we had some amount of snow fall from the sky.  Crazy Vermont weather.  It keeps you on your toes!  We still are enjoying it!  I have noticed some flowers poking through the ground.  Looking forward to seeing what our yard looks like in the spring!

With the start of April also came...baseball!  Even though I wasn't physically there for Opening Day this year, my heart was fully there!  We watched the game at home with my parents and the Braves did AWESOME!  Every time we got a home run I would pick up Daisy and run around the room!  We purchased a package through MLB TV so we can watch all of the Braves games!  Needless to say, most of our evenings have been spent watching the best team!

And just in case you didn't get enough photos of Daisy in this post, I will leave you with one more.  Daisy has decided that her favorite place in the house is on the couch.  Initially she was only allowed on the couch when invited.  Then, her first set of grandparents came to visit and it has been downhill from there.  Daisy likes to jump up on the back of the couch and watch over what is going on in the house.  We call this bad puppy behavior but boy is she cute!
