My dad loves college football. He is a huge fan of Florida State University. He did not attend FSU nor has anyone in our family. The only reason that we can think of that he loves FSU so much is because of their recently retired coach, Bobby Bowden. Well, Bobby Bowden came to Atlanta. He was autographing his book at our local Borders, so I HAD to go see Coach Bobby for Dad! Needless to say, Dad is thrilled with his early birthday gift!

Dean's brother, Geoff, was married last weekend to longtime girlfriend, Jenny. The wedding was beautiful and we are so happy for them. We had a lot of fun with family at the wedding! It really love being with family. We are both blessed with wonderful families and they get along well together too!
We found out on the way back home from Richmond that the Braves are the NL Wild Card Champions!!! We already have tickets to the post season game(s) in Atlanta. Looking forward to cheering them on Sunday!
We are playing the San Fransisco Giants in the NDLS. Game 1, we lost 1-0. Their run was scored after a really bad umpire's call. Game 2, we are watching right now! The game is tied 4-4 in the 11th. We are running out of pitchers...
WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!! WE JUST GOT A HOME RUN!!!! 5-4 Braves! Now we just have to hold them!! (Maybe I shouldn't update while watching a live game!)

Time to head back to Atlanta and take it all at home with Dean and me watching in person!!!! ;-)
