Month #7!

This past month has been filled with firsts!
  • Solids - Connor has had carrots, bananas, sweet potatoes, apples, peas, and peaches.  He loved carrots and he hated peas.
  • Plane - We took a 2 week vacation to Virginia and decided to try flying this time.  Connor did a great job!  He slept from take off to landing on all 4 legs of the round trip!  He did wake up before landing once but he was a happy baby.  He even earned his wings!
  • Christmas - Baby's First Christmas was a hit!  Connor loved opening presents and spent a lot of time with his grandparents.
  • Sickness - While in Virginia, Connor started to have a fever for a few days.  We called his pediatrician back home and on day 4, New Years Eve, we headed to urgent care.  Connor flirted with all the nursing staff.  2.5 hours later, he was diagnosed with an Upper Respiratory Infection and given the pink stuff.
  • New Year - On New Years Day we flew back home to Vermont.  There wasn't much celebration.  Maybe next year!
  • Teeth - Connor has two bottom teeth coming in!  They have poked through the gums and are nice and sharp.
Connor is sitting up on his own and becoming more interested with things around him.  In the last day or so he has really started to focus on his hands.  I love watching him look at his hands and move them around.  He is so amazing.  Connor is also becoming more aware of Daisy.  His eyes will follow her when she walks in the room and he will reach out to pet her if she is close by.  They are so cute together!

Right now Connor is on his second round of antibiotics.  The poor guy has been a trooper, but it has been so tough.  Being sick and in pain with teething has not been fun.  Here's hoping that this next month things go a little smoother!
