Dean and I took a 7 day cruise with 12 other family members from both sides of the family! We were on the same ship that we took for our Honeymoon, Freedom of the Seas! It has been 7 years, but the ship still looks like she was brand new!
The cruise was of the Eastern Caribbean with 3 ports of call, Coco Cay, Bahamas (Royal Caribbean's private island) St. Thomas, and St. Maarten. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute of it! We have decided that 7 years is too long between cruises!

In Coco Cay we enjoyed the sun and the sea! Dean went snorkeling while I checked out the shops. We had fun exploring the island and ended up swimming with some stingrays!
In St. Thomas, 12 of us took a land tour of the island. We were taken on some really steep and winding roads up to the Mountain Top for some wonderful views! We had lunch right on the beach and made sure not to feed the iguanas.

St. Maarten was our favorite port of call. 10 of us were taken on a lovely Catamaran for the day. We saw sea turtles which are Dean's favorite! We swam in the crystal clear blue water. I swam from the boat to an island. While walking the beach on the island, I saw a shark in the water! It took me several minutes to get the courage up to swim back to the boat! We had a lovely lunch on the Catamaran and went sailing! The weather was wonderful and we enjoyed every minute of it! So many beautiful sights!

We enjoyed a total of 3 cruise days where we enjoyed our time on the ship. Dean competed in the belly flop contest and won 4th place! The shows on board were fabulous and we had a wonderful staff that waited on us at dinner every night.

After a week of bathing suits and flip flops, and of temperatures in the 80s, we head home to a perfect fall day in Vermont.

Although we loved the vacation, we loved coming home to our favorite little girl. She is completely healed up from her accident and was so happy to see us! Life is good!
